The Colorado Avalanche have had a Sticks and Stitches (similar to the baseball Stitch and Pitch) event for a couple of years. I'm in the process of trying to organize one with the Anaheim Ducks.
I don't have a specific date yet, but I'm sort of testing the waters here... anyone interested?
I'll post more specific details when I have them, if there's any interest.

The Capital just contacted me. I am not a hockey fan, have never been to a game, but sent them an email after reading about the Avalanche knit/hockey event. They are very interested and I told them I'd bring my knitters ( a 133 strong meet up group and some of the local guild members). Organize one for the Ducks and we'll do a transcontinental hook up.
